geologyRing-of-Fire geology/rock kits are designed for children in grades 3 through 6. Each kit contains hands-on activities that will teach students to identify rocks, and understand the geological processes that formed them.

Ring-of-Fire Rock Kits come with:

  • ROCK SAMPLES in a compartmented case (big enough to add your own finds), and a powerful magnifier.
  • Your choice of a PRINTED TEXTBOOK or CD TEXTBOOK. Both are in color. Th e printed version is spiral bound. The CD is in PDFs and works with Windows or Mac.

Each TEXTBOOK contain 12 lessons, 12 quizzes, and 12 hands-on activities, which are experiments, observations, simulations or craft projects. The Text also contains informative GEOLOGY ARTICLES to help children understand rock formation.
